What we collect when you use this site, why, and how to have it removed.
Draft for review. This is a genuine draft written to GDPR standard, not generator boilerplate — but it has not been reviewed by a lawyer. Two things must be settled before launch: whether counsel signs this off, and the governing law named in the Terms. Delete this notice once both are resolved.
Bolter Technologies Private Limited ("Bolter Technologies", "we", "us") operates boltertech.com. This policy explains what personal data the site collects, why we collect it, and what you can do about it.
We have written this to the standard of the EU General Data Protection Regulation. Pakistan's own data protection legislation remains in draft at the time of writing, and we would rather meet the stricter standard our clients are actually subject to than the local minimum.
What we collect
Information you send us. When you submit the contact form we receive your name, email address, company name if you provide one, the type of work you select, and the message you write. We collect this because you have asked us to respond to you — that is the lawful basis, and it is the only reason we hold it.
Analytics. We use Vercel Analytics, which is cookieless. It records page views, referrer, approximate country, and device type. It does not set cookies, does not use browser fingerprinting, and does not build a profile of you across sites or sessions. Because no personal data is processed and no cookies are stored, this site does not show a consent banner — there is nothing to consent to.
Server logs. Our host records standard request logs, including IP addresses, for security and abuse prevention. These are retained by the host on their own schedule and are not used for marketing.
What we do not do
We do not sell personal data. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not run advertising or social media tracking pixels on this site. We do not use your contact form submission to add you to a mailing list.
Who processes data on our behalf

Each of these is a data processor acting on our instructions. Transfers outside the EEA rely on the processor's Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep things
Contact form submissions are kept in our email for as long as the enquiry is live and for 24 months afterwards, so that we can pick up a conversation that resumes later. After that they are deleted. Analytics data is aggregate and is retained by Vercel according to their own policy.
Your rights
If you are in the EU or UK, you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it erased, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive a copy in a portable format. These rights are not conditional on where we are based.
To exercise any of them, email contact@boltertech.com. We will respond within 30 days. You do not need to explain why you are asking, and asking will not affect any work we are doing for you.
If you believe we have handled your data improperly you may complain to your local supervisory authority.
Children
This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top of this page. Substantive changes will not be applied retroactively to data already collected.
